We don't store your files. We don't track your behavior. We don't sell your data. File Organizer analyzes your files locally and via AI, organizes them, and that's it. Nothing is retained on our servers.
When you create a FOBO account, we store your name, email address, and country. This is used for authentication, credit management, and to comply with payment regulations. Your account is hosted on AWS Cognito.
When you install File Organizer, we register your device with basic information: operating system, app version, and language preference. This helps us provide credits, check for updates, and diagnose issues. Your IP address is logged for security purposes.
We track how many credits you use and purchase. This is necessary for billing and to display your balance. We do not track which files consume credits or what results the AI returns.
File Organizer processes your files locally on your computer. When a file needs AI analysis, a small text snippet (up to 2,000 characters) is sent to the AI provider for classification. This snippet is processed in real time and is not stored, logged, or retained on any server. File paths are never sent to the AI.
Music files that need recognition send a short audio clip for fingerprint matching. The clip is processed and immediately discarded.
When you choose to send feedback, the following data is submitted for analysis:
This data is used solely to investigate the issue and improve the product. It is deleted after analysis. Feedback submission is entirely optional and you are informed of exactly what will be sent before confirming.

This website uses a single authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party cookies.
Your account data and credit balance are retained for as long as your account exists. Device registrations are retained for as long as the device is linked to your account. You can unlink devices at any time from your account page. Feedback traces are deleted after analysis.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can unlink devices from your account page. Since we don't store your files or track your behavior, there is no behavioral data to delete.
