By using File Organizer or any FOBO service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our products.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Credits are consumed when files require AI-powered analysis or music recognition. You are always shown the credit cost before confirming a run. AI file analysis is billed in batches of ten files per credit, always rounded up to the nearest credit. Music recognition is charged at one credit per identified song. The credit cost of a run is computed per batch, not per individual file.
Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Purchases are denominated in euros for customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, and EEA countries, and in US dollars elsewhere. Your billing currency is determined by the country you select at registration and is locked to your account. You agree to pay the amount shown at checkout. We do not store your payment card details. All payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
You may use File Organizer for personal or commercial file organization. You may not:
You retain full ownership of your files. FOBO does not claim any rights to your files or their contents. File processing happens locally on your device. When AI analysis is required, only small text snippets are sent for classification and are not retained. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Some FOBO services let you publish content that other people can see, for example, forms hosted on hosted-forms.com. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring you have the right to use it. We do not pre-screen published content, but we may apply automated checks, and we may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without notice, where we believe these terms or applicable law have been broken. We act on lawful requests and abuse reports and report illegal content to the relevant authorities. Anyone can report a published form using the report link shown on it.
File Organizer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, AI-powered suggestions may not always be correct. You are always shown a preview before any files are moved. We recommend keeping backups of important files.
FOBO is not liable for any data loss, file corruption, or unintended file moves resulting from using the application. You use the copy or move functionality at your own discretion.
Disk Space marks folders with safety indications drawn from a curated, community-contributed knowledge base. We do our best to identify folders that should not be deleted, but these indications are informational and may be incomplete or incorrect. You should exercise caution and do your own research before deleting any folder, and you alone decide what to remove. FOBO is not responsible for deleted files, system damage, application malfunctions, or any other problems resulting from deleting files or folders. We always advise using the Trash first, which is the default setting, so items can be recovered if needed.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service. AI analysis, credit purchases, and account features depend on cloud infrastructure that may experience downtime. Local file organization features work offline.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Violations of our content rules (including uploading, publishing, or hosting prohibited content) are grounds for immediate suspension or termination. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited and not refundable.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
