1. Acceptance

By using File Organizer or any FOBO service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our products.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Credits

Credit policy

No refunds. Credit purchases are final. Credits cannot be refunded or exchanged for money.
Non-transferable. Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another user or device not linked to your account.
Expiration. Credits expire one year after your last credit usage. Any activity that consumes credits resets the expiration clock for all credits in your account.
Free credits. Free credits earned through installation, account creation, or feedback are subject to the same expiration policy.

Credits are consumed when files require AI-powered analysis or music recognition. You are always shown the credit cost before confirming a run. AI file analysis is billed in batches of ten files per credit, always rounded up to the nearest credit. Music recognition is charged at one credit per identified song. The credit cost of a run is computed per batch, not per individual file.

4. Payments

Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Purchases are denominated in euros for customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, and EEA countries, and in US dollars elsewhere. Your billing currency is determined by the country you select at registration and is locked to your account. You agree to pay the amount shown at checkout. We do not store your payment card details — all payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

5. Use of the service

You may use File Organizer for personal or commercial file organization. You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
Attempt to bypass credit requirements or manipulate the credit system
Use the service to process illegal content
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the application
Interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure

6. Your files

You retain full ownership of your files. FOBO does not claim any rights to your files or their contents. File processing happens locally on your device. When AI analysis is required, only small text snippets are sent for classification and are not retained. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Disclaimer

File Organizer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, AI-powered suggestions may not always be correct. You are always shown a preview before any files are moved. We recommend keeping backups of important files.

FOBO is not liable for any data loss, file corruption, or unintended file moves resulting from using the application. You use the copy or move functionality at your own discretion.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service. AI analysis, credit purchases, and account features depend on cloud infrastructure that may experience downtime. Local file organization features work offline.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited and not refundable.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
